We’ve all been on a diet (or 2, or 10) and if you’re anything like me, the thought of another meal plan fills you with dread, guilt and an inferiority complex. It feels like everyone else can get the diet and exercise thing “right” - except you. But I know you’ve tried all the diets, using your willpower, counting calories, weighing yourself every day, and all it’s done is brought disappointment and probably weight gain. That’s why my approach focuses on intuitive eating, gentle exercise and cultivating respect for our bodies rather than deprivation and punishment. After 10 years in the industry I know what helps women feel more energised, confident and empowered (and it’s not a diet!)

  • In 2012 I started studying for my health coaching certification and thus began my career in the the health & fitness industry. Since then I have also studied and received certificates in group fitness, personal training, yoga teaching, and Reiki and I am currently studying for a certificate in Intuitive Eating and a Diploma in Counselling (life long learner here 🙋‍♀️). I have learned so much along the way and as a health & fitness veteran I thought I could share what I believe are the most important lessons (and some of them won’t be what you think!)

  • Once upon a time there was a woman named Emma. She was in her early 30’s and had led a fairly privileged life, especially when it came to body image. You see, Emma had always had a thin body (with a little bit of a belly if we’re being honest) and she had never worried about her size. She could buy clothes from any store, everything fit well and she always looked great. Sometimes she’d even buy clothes without trying them on because she knew they’d look good.
